Brand Guidelines
Guidelines for using the Brightroom name, logo, and trademarks in your own materials — the wordmark, the dot-globe symbol, colour, and type.
One identity, used consistently.
The “Brightroom” name, the Brightroom logo, the dot-globe symbol, and other Brightroom trademarks are the property of Brightroom. These guidelines help our partners, resellers, customers, developers, and other third parties understand how to use and display our trademarks and copyrighted work in their own assets and materials.
Wordmark
Our wordmark is the most direct expression of the brand. It is set in Jost Medium with fixed tracking and a fixed relationship to the symbol. It can scale freely, but its proportions are fixed to keep the brand consistent across products, surfaces, and regions.
Dos and Don’ts: Wordmark
DON’T stretch or distort the wordmark in any way
DON’T rebuild the lockup or change its proportions
DON’T crop the wordmark
DON’T use the wordmark as an image mask
DON’T use unapproved typefaces or variations
DON’T apply effects, shadows, or textures
Symbol
The symbol — the dot-globe — is generated from latitude and longitude. It carries the brand on its own where the full lockup will not fit. It is constructed to fixed proportions and is never redrawn.
Dos and Don’ts: Symbol
DON’T recolour the symbol
DON’T stretch or distort the symbol
DON’T add unauthorised elements
DON’T place the symbol on a busy background
DO use the established clear space
DO give the symbol plenty of open space
Colour
Brightroom uses one ink, three warm-paper surfaces, one navy surface for instruments, and a single accent colour. Status colours indicate state and are not used decoratively. Warm paper is used for backgrounds only.
Typography
Brightroom is set in Geist. Geist is used for all display, text, and interface type. Geist Mono is used for labels, numbers, and code. Jost is reserved for the wordmark only and is not used for other text.

Background
A field of star-dots that drift and twinkle on the dark ground, crossed now and then by a single shooting star. It is the brand’s atmosphere: quiet, deep, and reserved for expressive moments. The symbol may rest within it, but the field leads.

07Brand partnerships
When presenting Brightroom alongside another brand, give both marks equal weight and clear separation. Use the approved co-brand lockup with a vertical divider. Do not merge, combine, or lock our marks to another logo, and do not imply a partnership that does not exist.
