Guarantee Terms
Effective 2026-06-17
These Guarantee Terms are the single, binding statement of the Brightroom 715+ score guarantee. They govern the guarantee in full. Where any other page, advertisement, plan card, certificate or message describes the guarantee differently, these terms prevail. Nothing here removes or reduces your statutory rights as a consumer — see section 9.
The guarantee is offered together with, and forms part of, our Terms of Service. Defined terms used there (“Service”, “Account”) carry the same meaning here.
1. Who is eligible
The guarantee is available only on the ULTRA plan (ULTRA, 715+, six months of access). It is not offered on the Pro plans (Pro 1-month, Pro 4-month, Pro 6-month) or on any free trial, gifted, comped, refunded or charged-back access. There is no diagnostic-score threshold and no minimum starting score: every ULTRA subscriber whose plan is fully paid and in good standing is eligible, regardless of where they began, provided the conditions in section 2 are met.
Eligibility attaches to the individual ULTRA subscriber and their own official exam result. The guarantee is personal to you, is not transferable, and cannot be pooled, assigned or claimed on behalf of another person.
2. Qualifying conditions
To qualify, all of the following must be true. These conditions exist so that the guarantee reflects genuine, completed preparation; they are stated here in full and we do not apply any condition that is not listed on this page.
- You held an active ULTRA plan throughout your preparation, beginning with the 5-day free trial and continuing for the paid six-month access term.
- You completed the core Library. You worked through the core lessons of the Brightroom Library to completion within your access term, as recorded in your Account.
- You logged a meaningful, recorded amount of practice. Within your access term you sat at least three full-length GMAT Focus simulations and answered at least 600 practice questions in the platform. We measure this from your Account activity, not from a self-report.
- You sat the official GMAT Focus exam within your access window. You took an official, administered GMAT Focus Edition exam (GMAC) on a test date that falls within your six-month ULTRA access term. Practice tests, unofficial mocks, retired-format scores and scores from any test other than the official GMAT Focus Edition do not count.
- Your official total score was below 715. The guarantee is triggered only if your verified official total score is below 715.
- You submitted a valid claim on time. You sent us your official score report within the deadline in section 4.
3. The remedy
If you meet every condition in sections 1 and 2, the remedy is six (6) additional months of Brightroom ULTRA access at no charge.
The remedy is additional access, not a refund. The guarantee does not entitle you to any cash refund, partial refund, credit, discount or other payment. Your original ULTRA payment is not returned and is not reduced. We do not offer money back under this guarantee; the sole remedy is the additional six-month access term described above. (A separate statutory withdrawal right may give you a refund in different circumstances — see section 9 and the Right of Withdrawal.)
The additional six months begin when we grant them and run continuously from that date; unused time does not roll over, pause or convert to money. The additional term carries the same ULTRA features as your original plan and is itself covered by the guarantee on the same terms, so if you again follow the program and again fall short of 715 on a fresh official exam taken within the additional term, you may claim again under sections 2 and 4.
4. How to claim, and by when
To claim, email legal@bright-room.com (or support@bright-room.com) from your Account email address with the subject “Guarantee claim” and attach your official GMAC score report for the GMAT Focus exam in question — the official report or the official online score record from your GMAC account, showing your name, the test date and your total score. A screenshot of a practice result or an unofficial score is not sufficient.
Your claim must reach us within 30 days of your official test date. We confirm receipt, verify your Account activity against section 2 and, where it is helpful, may ask you to consent to GMAC verification of the report. If your claim qualifies, we grant the additional six months without further charge, normally within 14 days of verifying it. This is a manual review carried out by us; it is not an automatic billing event, and access is granted by us after we confirm the claim.
5. Processing of your score report
When you submit a score report to claim, you share personal data with us: your name, the test date and your official total score, together with the contents of the report. We process this data only to verify and administer your guarantee claim, and we handle it in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not publish your score, your name or your report, and we do not use them for marketing.
6. Exclusions
The guarantee does not apply, and any pending or granted remedy may be declined or revoked, where:
- the plan was not a paid, in-good-standing ULTRA plan, or the payment for it was refunded, withdrawn (see section 9) or charged back;
- the conditions in section 2 were not met — for example the core Library was not completed, the practice minimums were not logged, or the official exam was not taken within your access window;
- the score submitted is not from an official, administered GMAT Focus Edition exam (GMAC) — practice tests, unofficial mocks and scores from other tests or older exam formats are excluded;
- the score report is incomplete, altered, not verifiable, or does not match the eligible Account;
- the Account was shared, sold, accessed by more than one person, or used in breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, including any attempt to manipulate recorded activity to appear to meet section 2;
- fraud, misrepresentation or abuse of the guarantee is involved; or
- GMAC materially changes the GMAT Focus scoring scale, scoring method or 715 concordance after your plan starts, in which case we will apply the change reasonably and in good faith and, where the scale itself has moved, by reference to the score band equivalent to 715 on the new scale.
7. Score predictions are not the guarantee
The Brightroom score predictor and any predicted-score figure shown in the platform are estimates only of your current standing. They are not a forecast of your official result and are not the guarantee. The guarantee is only the commitment set out in these terms, triggered only by an official GMAT Focus score below 715 under the conditions above.
8. Currency and value
All Brightroom prices are stated and charged in USD. The remedy under this guarantee has no cash value and is never paid out in money or credit; it is delivered solely as additional ULTRA access as described in section 3.
9. Your statutory rights are unaffected
This guarantee is a voluntary commercial guarantee that we offer in addition to your rights under the law. It does not limit, replace or reduce any mandatory statutory right you have as a consumer, including:
- the 14-day right of withdrawal available to consumers in the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom — see the Right of Withdrawal; and
- your cancellation and refund rights and the conformity rights for digital services that apply to you — see the Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
You may rely on the guarantee or on your statutory rights, whichever gives you the better outcome. Exercising one does not extinguish the other, except that a transaction that has been withdrawn, refunded or charged back is no longer an eligible paid ULTRA plan for the purposes of section 1.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Guarantee Terms. The version that applies to your guarantee is the one in effect on the date your ULTRA plan starts; we keep that version available and will not apply later, less favourable conditions to a guarantee already in force. Material changes are dated by the “Effective” date above.
11. Governing law and contact
These Guarantee Terms are governed by the law stated in our Terms of Service, and the same dispute-resolution and consumer-protection provisions apply, including that consumers in the EU/EEA and the UK keep the mandatory protections of their home country.
